brodie grew up in auckland, new zealand.
after graduating from auckland university with a bachelor of arts in philosophy & film he moved to toronto, canada.
he's been actively pursuing photography since, with travels through central and south america and an extended time in new york and travels throughout usa. his south america photos were exhibited in 2009 at andreon gallery in auckland.
his photography started with a heavy passion in street photography influenced by masters such as garry winongrand, christophe agou & robert frank. he continues to point his camera at the bustle and business of the street, hoping to capture those moments of humour, strangeness, compassion and solitude that fill our streets but are often overlooked.
